Option 1

Curi-Cancha Reserve Tour Details:
This private reserve is a true natural paradise, thanks to its geographical location and history, it has created an impressive variety of habitats, being home to two different life zones, called very humid low-montane forest and humid pre-montane forest.

This tour takes approximately 3 hours. You will walk with a professional, naturalist, and bilingual guide. It is an easy walk through the trails of the park, looking for animals, sharing interesting facts about the vegetation and wildlife overall, and also talking about the history of Monteverde. At 10:30 a.m. we will be back at your hotel.

Option 2

Monteverde Reserve Tour Details:
This is the reserve par excellence, what most visitors think is a national park, but it is not. The Reserve, is indeed private property, managed from the beginning by the Tropical Science Center, a non-profit organization that oversees the conservation and study of flora and fauna.

During this easy guided walk, we will visit some of the trails of the reserve in search of its inhabitants, we will share information about all the wildlife, the origin of the reserve, the Quakers, and Monteverde in general. At the end of the walk, we will have a few free minutes to visit a hummingbird’s garden and if you want, you can try the coffee from the area in the Cafeteria Colibri. At 10:30 am we will return to your hotel.
