Our guide may adjust the birdwatching location depending on weather conditions and bird activity. Factors such as wind, rain, storms, fruiting trees, feeding patterns, and seasonal behaviors all influence where the birds are found. For this reason, entrance fees are not collected in advance. You will pay the fee directly at the reserve, and our guide will assist you with the process.

This flexibility is essential because our guides are in the forest every day and know exactly where key species are perching, feeding, or moving. Iconic birds such as the Resplendent Quetzal and the Three-wattled Bellbird constantly shift locations throughout the cloud forest based on food availability, weather changes, and breeding behavior.

By allowing our guides to choose the location on the same morning of the tour, we give you the best possible chance to see these remarkable species and enjoy an exceptional birdwatching experience.
