Our tours are designed to be flexible to ensure the best birdwatching experience possible. There are several reasons why the entrance fee is not included in your initial payment:

Bird activity and weather conditions can change quickly in the cloud forest. Our experienced guide may decide to switch locations on the morning of your tour to maximize sightings and comfort. For example:

• If high winds or rain affect one reserve, we may choose another where bird activity is higher or shelter is better.

• Some reserves have species that are more active during specific times or weather patterns.

This flexibility ensures that your tour is focused on the best birdwatching opportunities, rather than being locked into a less favorable location.

✅ 2. Each Reserve Has a Different Admission Fee

Since the entrance fees vary depending on the specific reserve (e.g., Curi-Cancha, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, or others), collecting a single fee in advance could lead to confusion, overcharging, or undercharging.
