The Car-Boat-Car transportation method is not only widely preferred but also remarkably practical, offering you an opportunity to revel in the scenic beauty along the way. This unique mode of travel grants a close-up view of Arenal Lake, the nation’s foremost electric dam, and the ever-majestic Arenal Volcano—a truly picturesque experience.

How it Works:

Commencing from your hotel in La Fortuna or Monteverde, our dedicated team will pick you up and transport you to a dock at Arenal Lake. Subsequently, you’ll embark on a leisurely boat ride across Lake Arenal, lasting approximately an hour. Upon reaching the opposite shore, a comfortable minivan awaits to swiftly transport you to your final destination, be it your hotel in Monteverde or La Fortuna.

Duration of the Trip:

The entire journey spans a total of 3 hours, with two hours spent on the road and an additional hour on the scenic boat ride.

Schedule:

Departures From Monteverde: 8:00 am and 2:00 pm

Departures from La Fortuna: 8:30 am and 14:30 pm
