Important Tour Info
We offer two options for this birdwatching tour:

  1. Monteverde Square, Paseo de Stella & Curi-Cancha Reserve

  2. Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve

For late November and early December, our chief guide, Adrian Méndez, and our team of guides recommend the first option — Monteverde Square (CASEM), Paseo de Stella & Curi-Cancha Reserve.

The main reason is the wind conditions typical of this time of year. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is denser, which can make bird observation more challenging, while Curi-Cancha Reserve and the surrounding areas provide more open and sheltered trails, allowing for better bird activity and visibility.

That said, we are more than happy to guide your tour at either location, depending on your personal preference.
