âš IMPORTANT: The main reason we charge a small deposit online while the rest is paid in cash is to avoid the high commission fees imposed by local banks. If you prefer to pay the full amount online, the price will increase slightly to cover these fees.
Step 2: Confirm Your Reservation
If you would like to proceed with your booking, please provide your full name and email address via WhatsApp or email to the person assisting you with your inquiry (Probably Bernardo Pacheco). This information is required to generate your invoice.
Step 3: Payment & Deposit
To secure your reservation, we require a small deposit, which will be processed via a secure payment link—usually through PayPal. The remaining balance is paid in cash on the day of the tour.
â–º Park Entrance Not IncludedOur guide selects the best birding spots based on daily conditions such as weather and bird activity. Because the reserve may change, entrance fees are not included in the tour price and must be paid directly at the selected reserve.
Why Isn’t the Park Entrance Included?
Since our guide may adjust the location for the best experience, entrance fees are paid on-site rather than in advance. Please bring a picture of your passport or valid ID for entry.
Monteverde Reserve Entrance Fees: $24 for adults, and $13 for children (valid all day).
After the tour, you’re welcome to revisit the trails, hummingbird gardens, and other areas of the reserve.
â–ºThe individual making the reservation and participating in our night tour must be the same person who made the payment via PayPal. This policy ensures the service is provided to the correct person and helps prevent fraudulent claims.
