During this Night Tour, you will walk the cloud forest trails surrounded by thick jungle where you can observe sleeping birds, tarantulas, spiders, grasshoppers, crickets, lizards, frogs, sloths, porcupines, white/nose coatis, olingos, kinkajous, snakes and more.

Booking Options:
Book the Night Walk at your hotel tour office one day in advance.

Starts:
Natural history walks start everyday at 5:30 PM at the Santuario Ecologico front desk. No transportation included.

Ends:
Tour ends approximately 2.5 hours after the tour starts at santuario info center (same Place).
Meals:
Meals not included on this tour.
Benefits:
Learn about night life activity in the cloud forest, and see animals you usually would not observe during the day.

Tips
During summer:

In warm weather, dress light; wear sun block and comfortable shoes.

Winter/Spring:

In cool weather, dress in layered clothing and a raincoat to protect from the wind and rain.

• Santuario Ecologico is located 1.5 km from Santa Elena Town on the road to the Monteverde Reserve.

• You can Walk from town or your hotel if it is close. It is recomended to take a taxi back after the tour ends.

• A Taxi from town is approx $2. You can also call a taxi from your hotel.
